Restoration intervention on the Municipio: completion of the building - town hall/museum

Restoration works carried out on the pictorial decorations are part of a larger work of renovation of the whole historical building that will become the headquarter of the city hall of Gorla Maggiore. The building, known as Palazzo Terzaghi, is a structure hypothetically dating from the first half of the XV century. According to  archive sources the pictorial decorations located on the ground floor and to the first floor date back to the first half of 1700. There are areas with decorated vaulted ceilings on the ground floor and wall decorations placed on the first floor.
